Very convenient location - only a few minutes walk to all the bars and restaurants of Bowness. Very clean. Good breakfast and pleasantly served. Shower very good and good sized bathroom for rooms of this type. Other reviews mention parking - this is no problem as long as you don't mind leaving your keys available to move your vehicle should it be necessary. We did this and there was no problem for anyone.

Double room at front of house could do with blackout curtains and suffers a little from traffic noise from early morning, suggest secondary glazing - there is little/no traffic at night though.

The staff were extremely friendly and amiable. The double room had a very comfortable bed. It was nice to have coffee/tea making equipment and excellent tea in my room. I totally recommend this hotel.

The staff is very very helpful, the breakfast absolutely superb, the location is perfect short walk to town center, the Lakes on Saturday, and the ferry. The units are good sized, immaculate. The beds are very comfy. All in all they offer exceptional service. There is parking on-site. I want to say thank you very much for a lovely experience, would happily go back again.

We had a really lovely stay at Holmlea Guest House Exclusively For Adults in Windermere. The comforts of the double room and the very comfortable bed were fabulous. The location was excellent; it was close to The World of Beatrix Potter Attraction. The hotel was a good base for enjoying the local area.

It was a lovely, exceptionally clean and welcoming. It was also ideally situated near everything.

Holmlea Guest House Exclusively For Adults in Windermere was a cosy base for my weekend getaway. I had an enjoyable stay by the lake. - the guest house's central location made it convenient to access shops, bars, restaurants, and the town center. - the breakfast served was delicious, with a good variety of coffee, tea, fruit juices, toast.
